What C-30
actually means.
Samsung's C-3x codes are about the control board's own temperature sensor. On the electric manual C-30 covers that sensor reading open or shorted and C-31 covers the board itself running abnormally hot; the gas manual adds C-22 for the same kind of board sensor check.

What to do when C-30 shows on the rangeKind of codeTemperature sensor
The oven sensor sent a reading the control would not accept, or one that climbed well past the setting. A loose plug or a sensor that has drifted is ruled out before the control board, and a temperature that keeps rising means the range is switched off at the breaker first.
Usually leads toTemperature sensor and thermostat repair
A range oven that bakes hot, bakes slow, takes forever to preheat or posts a sensor code, traced to the sensor probe, the thermostat or the calibration.
Shows up asRange Control Panel Not Responding
The touch keys or knobs on the range do nothing, only some keys work, the display is blank or frozen, or it beeps without starting.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Samsung's own guidance for C-30 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Press OFF/CLEAR and restart the range.
Make sure nothing is blocking airflow around the control area, then reset power at the breaker for 30 seconds.
For C-31, the electric manual goes straight to service, so book a visit.
Still there?
It usually turns into temperature sensor and thermostat repair. Book with the code and the model number.
What not to do
These codes are not about the oven cavity sensor, which reports as C-20.
