C-21 is Samsung's overheating code: the control has seen the oven cavity climb abnormally high. It shuts the oven down so the heat does not keep rising.

The oven under the burners called for heat and the cavity did not warm the way the control planned. On an electric oven a bake or broil element that has burned open is the usual cause; on a gas oven the igniter and the valve it opens come first. The wiring and the relay are checked before the board takes the blame.

Switch the oven off and let it cool down with the door shut.
Press OFF/CLEAR and restart; if the code returns, cut power at the breaker for at least 30 seconds.
If C-21 appears again on the next bake, stop using the oven and book a visit.

C-21 is not the vent warning. When the heat rises too fast because the vent is covered, Samsung shows C-24 instead.
