Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Frigidaire's own guidance for F10 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the oven off and let it cool completely.

02

Reset the range by cutting power for about 30 seconds.

03

If F10 returns on the next bake, book a visit.

Still there?

It usually turns into bake and broil elements. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

F10 is not a door lock code; those are F90 to F94.

What you may
notice with it.

The range problems F10 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range before anyone is booked.

Questions
about F10.

Can I clear F10 myself?
Turn the oven off and let it cool completely. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Is thermal runaway on my Frigidaire range dangerous?
It means the oven got hotter than it should, and Frigidaire treats F10 as a safety alert. Let it cool, reset it, and do not keep baking if F10 comes back.
Can F10 on a Frigidaire range come from the pizza setting?
On Stone-Baked Pizza ovens, Frigidaire links F10 to a pizza shield on the wrong rack. Check the rack position in your manual before assuming a part has failed.

Still showing F10?

Book with the code exactly as it appears, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or scorching — with a code, that is where the diagnosis begins.
