Questions
about F40.

Can I clear F40 myself?
Stop using the oven for anything that needs an accurate temperature. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
My BlueStar range still heats with F40 showing. Can I keep baking?
Without a sensor it can trust, the oven cannot hold the set temperature, so results will wander. Use the burners for now and book a visit for the sensor.
Will removing the meat probe clear F40 on my BlueStar?
No. F40 concerns the oven's own sensor; probe issues show as F50 instead.

Still showing F40?

Book with the code exactly as it appears, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or scorching — with a code, that is where the diagnosis begins.
