What not to do

A fan that keeps running after you switch the oven off is normal on a BlueStar until the oven cools to 200°F. That alone is not F60.

What you may
notice with it.

The range problems F60 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range before anyone is booked.

Questions
about F60.

Can I clear F60 myself?
Turn the oven off and let the range cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
The fan on my BlueStar runs after I turn the oven off. Is that F60?
No. BlueStar says the fan behind the panel keeps running until the oven is below 200°F. F60 is a message on the touchscreen, not the sound of that fan.
Why is F60 on a BlueStar range worth fixing quickly?
The cooling fan protects the control electronics from oven heat. Running the oven while it is not working exposes those electronics to heat they are not meant to take.
