What C-10
actually means.
C-10 shows up when you run the oven self-diagnosis in the SmartThings app and the oven starts out very cold or very hot. Samsung says that is a limit of the sensor during the test, not a defect.

What to do when C-10 shows on the rangeKind of codeMode, not a failure
Something the range was told to do, or a state it chose on purpose — a control lock, a Sabbath setting, a demo mode that lights the display but never heats, a pan warning on an induction zone. Nothing has worn out, and no part is needed.
Usually leads toNo repair
If the oven heats normally, ignore C-10 when it appears only during the app test.
Shows up asRange Error Code
The range display shows letters, numbers or a flashing symbol, beeps, and stops the oven, a cooking zone or a clean.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from Samsung's own guidance for C-10 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
If the oven heats normally, ignore C-10 when it appears only during the app test.
If C-10 appears on its own while cooking, reset the oven.
Book a visit if it keeps appearing outside the test.
Cleared?
The range was set right without a new part. If the same message comes back while a burner or the oven is in use, or the range cuts out again, treat it as a new problem and book it.
What not to do
C-10 during a diagnosis run does not mean the oven sensor has failed; that is C-20.
What you may
notice with it.
The range problem C-10 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range before anyone is booked.
