What 130-136
actually means.
Codes 130 to 136 are triac errors: the solid-state switch that powers an element has seen something wrong in that circuit. The technician measures the element, which should read 18 to 20 ohms, and replaces it if it is open; if the element is fine and the software is current, the main board is changed.

What to do when 130-136 shows on the rangeKind of codeOven heating
The oven under the burners called for heat and the cavity did not warm the way the control planned. On an electric oven a bake or broil element that has burned open is the usual cause; on a gas oven the igniter and the valve it opens come first. The wiring and the relay are checked before the board takes the blame.
Usually leads toBake and broil elements
An electric range oven that stays cold, heats only from above or below, or will not broil, traced to the elements, their terminals or the relay that switches them.
Shows up asRange Error Code
The range display shows letters, numbers or a flashing symbol, beeps, and stops the oven, a cooking zone or a clean.

Before you book,
in this order.
Each step comes from AGA's own guidance for 130-136 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.
Note the number and which hotplate or oven stopped heating.
Book a visit so the element and its connections can be measured.
What not to do
A triac code does not prove the board has failed. An element that has gone open or a loose terminal produces the same code.

Electric range
Coil elements or radiant elements under a smooth glass top, with an electric oven below, all running on a dedicated 240-volt circuit.
Dual-fuel range
Gas burners on top and an electric oven below, the combination most professional-style ranges use, needing both a gas line and a 240-volt circuit.
Induction range
A glass top that heats the pan itself through copper coils and power boards, over an electric oven, with electronics doing almost all the work.
