Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 875-7576

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from ZLINE's own guidance for E/2 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Allow the range to cool and check nothing is blocking its ventilation.

02

If E/2 persists after that, book a visit.

Still there?

It usually turns into surface element and glass top repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

E/2 is an overheating warning, not the transistor failure reported by F/4.

What you may
notice with it.

The range problems E/2 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E/2.

Can I clear E/2 myself?
Allow the range to cool and check nothing is blocking its ventilation. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why does E/2 show on my ZLINE when searing at maximum?
Long spells at full power heat the transistor that drives the coil, and ZLINE lists that as a cause. A cool-down usually clears it.
How is E/2 different from F/4 on a ZLINE?
E/2 says the transistor is too hot; F/4 says it is malfunctioning. E/2 calls for cooling and airflow, F/4 for switching off and a repair.

Still showing E/2?

Book with the code exactly as it appears, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or scorching — with a code, that is where the diagnosis begins.
