Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 875-7576

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from ZLINE's own guidance for E/1 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Let the range cool and make sure its air vents are clear.

02

If E/1 keeps appearing with the vents clear, book a visit.

Still there?

It usually turns into surface element and glass top repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

E/1 does not mean the sensor has failed; that is F/3. Here the sensor is doing its job and reporting real heat.

What you may
notice with it.

The range problems E/1 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E/1.

Can I clear E/1 myself?
Let the range cool and make sure its air vents are clear. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can a large pan cause E/1 on my ZLINE induction range?
ZLINE lists cookware that blocks airflow as one cause. A pan overhanging the vents or the control area is worth moving.
My ZLINE shows E/1 after long boiling at full power. Is that expected?
Prolonged high-power use is one of the causes ZLINE names. Let it cool; frequent repeats on normal settings are the reason to book a visit.

Still showing E/1?

Book with the code exactly as it appears, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or scorching — with a code, that is where the diagnosis begins.
