What F2
actually means.
Bosch uses F2, F4 and E7015 when the electronics under the induction top overheat and a zone switches off. Blocked airflow or long high-power cooking can cause it.

What to do when F2 shows on the rangeKind of codeSurface elements and induction
A radiant element, a coil or an induction zone did not heat the way the control expected, or ran hotter than it should. The pan, the switch behind the knob and the wiring to the element come first; on induction, the power board and the coil under the glass are checked next. A zone that will not switch off, or a crack in the glass, means the breaker goes off before anything else.

Electric zones that stay cold, run too hot or will not switch off, and cracked or damaged glass on radiant and induction models.
Shows up asRange Surface Element Not Heating
One coil or glass-top zone on an electric range stays cold, heats only weakly, or will not respond while the others work.
