Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 875-7576

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from SKS's own guidance for F-9 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Switch the range off at the breaker for five minutes and restore power.

02

If F-9 repeats, book a visit; leave gas valves and fittings to the technician.

Still there?

It usually turns into bake and broil elements. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

F-9 with working burners does not have to mean a failed oven part; a closed regulator valve produces the same code.

What you may
notice with it.

The range problems F-9 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the range before anyone is booked.

Questions
about F-9.

Can I clear F-9 myself?
Switch the range off at the breaker for five minutes and restore power. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
My SKS slide-in shows F-9 right after installation. What is likely?
SKS notes that a closed gas pressure regulator valve can cause F9 or F19 while the burners still light. Have the installer or a technician check it; do not adjust gas parts yourself.
Is F-9 on an SKS range a failed igniter?
SKS lists it only as oven not heating. The technician tests the oven's ignition and gas supply to find which part is responsible.

Still showing F-9?

Book with the code exactly as it appears, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or scorching — with a code, that is where the diagnosis begins.
