What No signal to the probe
actually means.
Miele shows this message when the wireless probe is not recognized. A microwave running nearby can interfere, because it uses a similar frequency range.

What to do when No signal to the probe shows on the rangeKind of codeTemperature sensor
The oven sensor sent a reading the control would not accept, or one that climbed well past the setting. A loose plug or a sensor that has drifted is ruled out before the control board, and a temperature that keeps rising means the range is switched off at the breaker first.
Usually leads toTemperature sensor and thermostat repair
A range oven that bakes hot, bakes slow, takes forever to preheat or posts a sensor code, traced to the sensor probe, the thermostat or the calibration.
Shows up asRange Oven Temperature Wrong
Recipes burn or come out underdone, and an oven thermometer disagrees with the temperature set on the range.

Gas range
Open flames on top and a gas-fired oven below, all fed by one supply line behind the range and lit by igniters rather than a match.
Dual-fuel range
Gas burners on top and an electric oven below, the combination most professional-style ranges use, needing both a gas line and a 240-volt circuit.
Induction range
A glass top that heats the pan itself through copper coils and power boards, over an electric oven, with electronics doing almost all the work.
In Miele's own words
In some cases, reception interference can even be caused by a microwave operating in the vicinity of the oven, because the microwave uses a similar frequency range to that of the wireless probe.
Every code on this site is taken from the manufacturer's documentation, never from a forum or a parts listing. In the 30-inch dual fuel range manual; applies to models with the wireless probe.
