This form is all it takes to book a range visit. It asks for no card, and nothing is owed until a technician has looked at the range and explained what it needs. ## What the form asks, and why. What you enter goes to the technician ahead of the visit, which raises the chance that the right igniter, element or sensor is already in the van. Sending it binds you to nothing; the range is priced only after it has been diagnosed. (844) 875-7576 ### Step one Which range, and what went wrong Gas, electric, dual-fuel or induction, the make, and whether the trouble is on top or in the oven. That decides who comes and which parts ride along. ### Step two The day and the window Choose a day and an arrival window that fit your schedule, so the whole day is not spent waiting at home. ### Step three Getting to the range The address and a number to reach you. Say whether the range runs on natural gas, propane or electricity, and add a gate code or parking note if there is one. ## After you book, the visit. The three steps above are the booking. If replacing the range makes more sense, you are told that too. 03 ### Common parts on board Igniters, surface elements, bake elements and oven sensors travel in the van. A control board, a glass top or a part made for one model only is ordered by number, so giving it at booking can save a return trip. 04 ### Fixed, then run hot After the part is fitted, the burners are lit again and the oven is brought up to heat while the technician checks the flame, the temperature and the controls, rather than taking the fix on trust. ## Before the technician arrives. [What a code means](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/) ### Stop testing the burners Clicking a burner over and over or reheating an oven that will not hold temperature can wear the igniter and muddle a stored code. If there is a gas smell, a scorched smell, a cracked top or a tripped breaker, leave the range off entirely. ### Note any code If the display shows a code, copy every character in the order it appears. The same one can mean something else entirely on a different make. ### Clear the top and the oven Lift off pots and pans, empty the oven and the drawer below it, and let everything cool. No. The form does not ask for a card and no deposit is taken. The repair and its price are explained after the diagnosis, and no work begins until you say yes. ### Where do I find the model number on a range? Pull the storage or warming drawer out and look at the frame behind it, or open the oven door and check the edges of the opening. If you cannot get to it, book anyway: the technician will read it at the visit. ### Could I phone instead of using the form? Yes. Our phone number and hours head every page of the site. A request sent through the form reaches the same people, even when the lines are busy. ### What if the range turns out not to be worth fixing? You learn that at the diagnosis, with the reasons, before any repair is priced.
