PF in the oven knob window most often means the power went out while the range was on. Wolf also shows it when the oven is still too hot for the cooking mode you just selected. Wolf range display · also shown as P F What to do when PF shows on the range ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure Something the range was told to do, or a state it chose on purpose — a control lock, a Sabbath setting, a demo mode that lights the display but never heats, a pan warning on an induction zone. Nothing has worn out, and no part is needed. ### Usually leads to No repair Turn the oven selector bezel to any cooking mode and then back to OFF to clear PF. ### Shows up as Range Control Panel Not Responding The touch keys or knobs on the range do nothing, only some keys work, the display is blank or frozen, or it beeps without starting. ### Make Wolf The cooking brand of the Wisconsin-based Sub-Zero Group, known for red-knobbed gas, dual-fuel and induction ranges. ### Source Wolf answer: legacy dual-fuel range, PF Legacy Wolf dual-fuel ranges. ## Before you book, in this order. Turn the oven selector bezel to any cooking mode and then back to OFF to clear PF. ### Why does my Wolf range show PF after a storm? PF is how the legacy dual-fuel range tells you the power dropped while it was on. Turning the selector bezel to a mode and back to OFF usually clears it. ### My Wolf shows PF right after broiling. Is that normal? It can be. Wolf also shows PF when the oven is too hot for the next mode you pick, so open the door, let the cavity cool a little and choose the mode again. --- **[Read on the site: Wolf legacy dual-fuel range showing PF in the knob](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/wolf-df-pf/)** **[Book a visit with RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/schedule/)**
