Take any pan, foil or tray off the vent at the back of the range top. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does C-24 show up when I use a large pot on my Samsung range? A wide pot on the back burner can sit over the oven vent, and Samsung names a covered vent as the usual cause of C-24. Moving the pot forward or to another burner lets the oven breathe again. ### Can I clear C-24 on a Samsung range without turning the oven off? Yes.
