Miele shows this message when the wireless probe is not recognized. A microwave running nearby can interfere, because it uses a similar frequency range. Miele range display What to do when No signal to the probe shows on the range ### Kind of code Temperature sensor The oven sensor sent a reading the control would not accept, or one that climbed well past the setting. A loose plug or a sensor that has drifted is ruled out before the control board, and a temperature that keeps rising means the range is switched off at the breaker first. ### Usually leads to Temperature sensor and thermostat repair A range oven that bakes hot, bakes slow, takes forever to preheat or posts a sensor code, traced to the sensor probe, the thermostat or the calibration. ### Shows up as Range Oven Temperature Wrong Recipes burn or come out underdone, and an oven thermometer disagrees with the temperature set on the range. ### Make Miele A family-owned German company selling professional-style dual-fuel and all-gas ranges in the US. ### Source Miele operating instructions, 30 inch dual fuel range (HR 1924-3 G DF product page), Frequently asked questions In the 30-inch dual fuel range manual; applies to models with the wireless probe. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from Miele's own guidance for No signal to the probe on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Reposition the probe in the food. 02 Turn off any microwave running near the oven. 03 If it is still not recognized, the probe may need replacing. ### Still there? Reposition the probe in the food. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my Miele lose the probe only when the microwave is on? Miele says the microwave uses a similar frequency to the wireless probe and can interfere. ### Is a new probe the fix when my Miele never finds it? If repositioning it and turning off the microwave do not help, Miele says the probe itself is the likely cause, and a new one can be ordered. --- **[Read on the site: Miele range not recognizing its wireless probe](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/miele-probe-no-signal/)** **[Book a visit with RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/schedule/)**
