On LG double-oven ranges, F4 and F5 are the lower oven's thermistor errors. The upper oven may keep working while the lower one refuses to heat. Press CLEAR/OFF and try the lower oven again. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I use the upper oven on my LG while the lower one shows F4? LG does not say the upper oven is locked out, but use it only if it heats normally. The lower oven sensor still needs checking. ### Is F5 more serious than F4 on an LG range? LG gives both the same meaning, a lower oven thermistor error, and the same steps.
