Turn the zone off and take any empty or boiled-dry pan off the glass. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can a pot that boiled dry trigger E2 on my Hestan induction range? Yes. Hestan lists an empty, boiled-dry pan as one of the two causes of E2, because the pan and the coil below it heat up fast with nothing inside. ### Should I call for service the first time my Hestan shows E2?
