Let the oven cool, then reset the breaker. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### My GE shows F9 and the door is locked. What should I avoid? Do not pry the door. Let the oven cool, reset the breaker and, if it stays locked, leave it for the technician. ### Does F9 on a GE mean the self-clean is broken? Self-clean needs the lock, so the clean cycle is off the table until the lock circuit is repaired. GE's advice to keep the breaker off until service applies here as well. --- **[Read on the site: GE range showing F9 | RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/ge-f9/)** **[Book a visit with RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/schedule/)**
