The pan, the switch behind the knob and the wiring to the element come first; on induction, the power board and the coil under the glass are checked next. Cut power to the range for about 30 seconds. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I still bake on my Electrolux range while F40 is showing? The code concerns the top. Electrolux does not say the oven is blocked, so use it only if it responds normally. ### Why would an Electrolux range lock out its own top? The control does this when it detects a condition it will not run with.
