Electrolux lists F10 as thermal runaway. For a standard range oven it means the control saw temperatures above normal and stopped the oven as a safety measure. On an electric oven a bake or broil element that has burned open is the usual cause; on a gas oven the igniter and the valve it opens come first. Switch the oven off and wait until it is cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Should I keep using my Electrolux range after F10 cleared? If the oven bakes normally afterward, the code may have been a one-off. If F10 returns, stop using the oven and have it checked. ### Does F10 on an Electrolux mean a fire risk? It means the oven got hotter than it should, and the control shut it down for that reason.
