Cancel the Self Clean function. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I open my Bosch oven while e126 is showing? Cancel Self Clean and wait for the lock to release on its own. Forcing it risks the latch. ### Why does e126 appear every time I start Self Clean on my Bosch? A lock that fails the same way each time needs service; the lock motor or switch is tested. --- **[Read on the site: Bosch freestanding range showing e126 | RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/bosch-e126/)** **[Book a visit with RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/schedule/)**
