Fan Error F60 reports trouble with the cooling fan, the one behind the control panel that keeps oven heat off the electronics. BlueStar notes that this fan normally keeps running after the oven is off until the oven drops to about 200°F. BlueStar range display · also shown as Fan Error F60 What to do when F60 shows on the range ### Kind of code Fans The convection fan behind the oven's back wall, or the cooling fan that keeps heat away from the controls, did not spin as fast as the control expected. Grease on the blade and a loose plug are checked first; a tired motor, and on the cooling side a thermal fuse, come after. ### Usually leads to Convection fan repair A convection oven on a range that bakes unevenly, rattles, squeals or never starts its fan, traced to the motor, the blade or the convection element. ### Shows up as Range Oven Not Heating The burners or elements on top work, but the oven below stays cold, heats only a little, or never finishes preheating. ### Make BlueStar A Pennsylvania company that builds professional-style gas and dual-fuel ranges, known for open burners and a very wide choice of finishes. ### Source BlueStar dual-fuel range manual 200009, troubleshooting BlueStar BSDF dual-fuel and BSPIR Platinum induction ranges. ## Before you book, in this order. Turn the oven off and let the range cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### The fan on my BlueStar runs after I turn the oven off. Is that F60? No. BlueStar says the fan behind the panel keeps running until the oven is below 200°F. F60 is a message on the touchscreen, not the sound of that fan. ### Why is F60 on a BlueStar range worth fixing quickly? The cooling fan protects the control electronics from oven heat. Running the oven while it is not working exposes those electronics to heat they are not meant to take. --- **[Read on the site: BlueStar range showing Fan Error F60 | RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/bluestar-range-f60/)** **[Book a visit with RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/schedule/)**
