Control Error F20 appears on the oven touchscreen of BlueStar's dual-fuel and Platinum induction ranges. BlueStar ties it to the control board or the wiring around it, the electronics that run every oven mode. BlueStar range display · also shown as Control Error F20 What to do when F20 shows on the range ### Kind of code Controls and communication The display, the main board or the induction power board lost contact with one another, or one of them failed its own self-check. A power dip, a loose cable or moisture from a boil-over is ruled out before a board is replaced, and a range that keeps heating while this code shows is switched off at the breaker. ### Usually leads to Knobs, switches and controls Knobs that spin or crack, touch keys that do nothing, blank displays, clocks that reset and control boards that switch the wrong thing. ### Shows up as Range Control Panel Not Responding The touch keys or knobs on the range do nothing, only some keys work, the display is blank or frozen, or it beeps without starting. ### Make BlueStar A Pennsylvania company that builds professional-style gas and dual-fuel ranges, known for open burners and a very wide choice of finishes. ### Source BlueStar dual-fuel range manual 200009, troubleshooting BlueStar BSDF dual-fuel ranges (manual 200009) and BSPIR Platinum induction ranges (manual 100799) print the same F-code table. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from BlueStar's own guidance for F20 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Note the exact wording on the touchscreen and switch the oven off. 02 BlueStar's table sends F20 straight to service, so book a visit. ### Still there? Book with the code and the model number. ### What not to do F20 is an oven touchscreen message. The burner troubleshooting in the same manual lists no codes, so a burner that will not light has other causes to check. ## What you may notice with it. The range problems F20 tends to arrive with.
