Er47 is listed in BlueStar's induction table as a system issue on the range top of a Platinum induction range. BlueStar does not break it down further, and treats any other E code the same way. BlueStar range display · also shown as Er 47 What to do when Er47 shows on the range ### Kind of code Controls and communication The display, the main board or the induction power board lost contact with one another, or one of them failed its own self-check. A power dip, a loose cable or moisture from a boil-over is ruled out before a board is replaced, and a range that keeps heating while this code shows is switched off at the breaker. ### Usually leads to Knobs, switches and controls Knobs that spin or crack, touch keys that do nothing, blank displays, clocks that reset and control boards that switch the wrong thing. ### Shows up as Range Surface Element Not Heating One coil or glass-top zone on an electric range stays cold, heats only weakly, or will not respond while the others work. ### Make BlueStar A Pennsylvania company that builds professional-style gas and dual-fuel ranges, known for open burners and a very wide choice of finishes. ### Source BlueStar Platinum induction range manual 100799, induction indicators BlueStar BSPIR Platinum induction ranges.
