--- title: "AGA eR7 range showing error 007 | RangeRepair.center" description: "What 007 means on AGA eR7 ranges, what to check before booking, and when it is not a failure at all." url: "https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/aga-007/" --- # AGA eR7 range showing 007 Each eR7 zone reports its heat through thermocouples wired to the user panel, and 007 means the panel itself has lost the ability to process those readings. ## What 007 actually means. Each eR7 zone reports its heat through thermocouples wired to the user panel, and 007 means the panel itself has lost the ability to process those readings. Because every zone depends on them, AGA treats the panel as the part to replace when 007 keeps coming back. AGA range display · also shown as 7 What to do when 007 shows on the range ### Kind of code Temperature sensor The oven sensor sent a reading the control would not accept, or one that climbed well past the setting. A loose plug or a sensor that has drifted is ruled out before the control board, and a temperature that keeps rising means the range is switched off at the breaker first. ### Usually leads to Temperature sensor and thermostat repair A range oven that bakes hot, bakes slow, takes forever to preheat or posts a sensor code, traced to the sensor probe, the thermostat or the calibration. ### Shows up as Range Error Code The range display shows letters, numbers or a flashing symbol, beeps, and stops the oven, a cooking zone or a clean. ### Make AGA A British cooking name, owned by Middleby, that sells cast-iron heat-storage cookers and more conventional dual-fuel and induction ranges in the US. ### Source AGA eR7 Field Service Manual, USA and Canada Numbered eR7 codes come from AGA's US and Canada field service manual; the owner's guide only says a code shows on the handset. ## Before you book, in this order. Each step comes from AGA's own guidance for 007 on its ranges. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit. 01 Record 007 as it shows on the handset. 02 Book a visit; the code is logged and reset first, and the user panel is exchanged if 007 recurs. ### Still there? Book with the code and the model number. ### What not to do 007 does not single out one hotplate or oven. It concerns the panel's measuring circuit rather than a probe in a particular zone. ## What you may notice with it. The range problems 007 tends to arrive with. Record 007 as it shows on the handset. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Which zone of my AGA eR7 is affected by 007? All of them in principle, since 007 is about the panel's ability to read every thermocouple. It is not tied to a single hotplate or oven. ### Does 007 on an AGA eR7 always mean a new panel? AGA's note is to reset and log it first. When it returns, the user panel is the part the manual points to. --- **[Read on the site: AGA eR7 range showing error 007 | RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/error-codes/aga-007/)** **[Book a visit with RangeRepair.center](https://rangerepair.center/schedule/)**
